'Showing Signs' is the first release from Ian and Cara Jack of Headpets and Kevin Komoda of Plunt/ Rational Youth. Moving away from the indie rock of Headpets, Ian and Kevin explored their electropop leanings over a number of sessions at Kevin's loft, Plunt Planet. With Cara providing the majority of the vocals, the obvious comparison is Saint Etienne, but other points of inspiration include a-ha, Gary Numan, Pet Shop Boys, Robyn, Goldfrapp, Kylie, New Order, Men Without Hats and Rational Youth.
